Privacy Policy

Who we are

RawMeaters (rawmeaters.com) is a free online community for people who eat raw meat and follow primal diets. If you have any question about your data, email hello@rawmeaters.com.

What we collect

• Your email address, only if you sign up for our emails. We use it to send the beginner guide, new recipes, and community updates.
• Anonymous visit statistics through Umami Analytics: pages viewed, which buttons are clicked (for example 'Join on WhatsApp'), referring site, country, and device type. Umami uses no cookies and doesn't identify you personally.
• Basic technical logs kept by our hosting provider, Vercel (such as IP address and browser), used only to keep the site secure and running.
• Your light/dark mode choice, saved in your own browser. It never leaves your device.

What we don't do

• We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
• We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
• We don't ask for payment details. RawMeaters is free.

WhatsApp and Telegram groups

When you join one of our groups, you join it on WhatsApp or Telegram, and their own privacy policies apply. Other members of a group can see your profile name and photo. On WhatsApp, they can also see your phone number. On Telegram, your number stays hidden unless your settings allow it.

We never export member lists or share your contact details outside the group.

Services we use

• Vercel: hosts the website.
• Umami: privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics.
• Brevo: stores our mailing list and sends our emails. Brevo is based in the EU and follows the GDPR.

How long we keep data

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics are only kept as anonymous totals.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw your consent at any time. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. For anything else, email us and we'll respond within 14 days.

We handle personal data in line with Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27 of 2022) and respect the same rights for members everywhere.

Age

RawMeaters is for adults. You need to be 18 or older to join our groups or sign up for our emails.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll also tell subscribers by email.
